QA Manager

Are you a great coach/mentor who can effectively promote change?

SQA is looking for an experienced QA Manager to help our Rhode Island-based client transition a large testing team into a true QA department. The ideal candidate has an exemplary background in software QA team management. If you have experience building or being part of a QA Center of Excellence or Community of Practice, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coaching individuals; learning on the fly
  • Daily employee one-on-one’s; understanding individual strengths and shortcomings
  • Analyzing and reporting on skill sets
  • Attending meetings across multiple departments with QA team members in a mentorship capacity
  • Coaching and advising how team members can better position QA
  • Working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • API testing experience a plus
  • Six Sigma a plus
